This size is for trims or narrow table centers. Add trims to your bedsheets, bed skirt, canopy bed, etc. This is the right thickness of fabric to balance with your furnitures. If you want to use it on a smaller scale, do embroidery in Filet Guipure and it will look delicate and airy. But this size of mesh goes primarily with furniture and curtain matters: the balance is perfect.
