Bonjour! 
       My name is MARIE-JO QUINAULT. I was born in Montréal (Québec), Canada. I have three citizenships: French-Canadian by my birth in Montréal, French by my parents and American by my husband.

FILET LACE is my passion; it is a lace, an embroidery and also a weaving. After more than 23 years, I still get Goosebumps when I talk about this technique. 

I have had the opportunity to study and compare the few methods of the Linen Stitch used by other filet lace-makers. For my own use, I have adapted the best of their methods and come up with a unique and improved concept with 3 levels of learning that I have been teaching for several years now. I have published this method in a very well illustrated class book (102 pages, 400 pictures, photos, tables, lace pictures) that teaches you the Linen Stitch (the basic stitch of the Filet Lace technique) in a simple way for the visual or the auditive student. 

I give classes in the US and Canada... and am willing to travel to other countries to teach my method. I speak, write and read French and English. I also sale the supplies and accessories on my website and the netting and the instruction book at wholesale prices for store owners. I continue to improve and develop products and new pattern designs for this lovely technique. Follow us, we will have more to offer.
