My name is MARIE-JO QUINAULT. I was born in Montréal (Québec), Canada. I have three citizenships: French-Canadian by my birth in Montréal, French because of my parents and American because of my husband. I speak, write and read French and English.  To communicate in other languages I use a translator.

FILET LACE is my passion; it is a lacy embroidery and also a weaving. After more than 26 years, I still get Goosebumps when I talk about this subject. 

I have written an instruction book (item FL01): "Filet Lace - Introduction to the Linen Stitch", a well illustrated method with 3 levels of learning, making it easy to learn the basic stitch of Filet Lace, the Linen Stitch.
