THE PEN SARDIN ... and the other Lace caps from Brittany

These little piece of art are as light as the wind, with "cornettes" like the tip of the waves.  In Brittany (Northwest of France), each region has its distinctive cap. This list is about pieces made on knotted net but I am sure you will go beyond my list. Most of these embroidery are made with the Filet Guipure technique as this tradition of wearing these little hats seems to have started in the XIXe century. Enjoye the travel and extend your journey!
